Casa Zoe Care

Casa Zoe Care is a small, residential senior home in La Floresta, one of Ajijic’s quieter neighborhoods, just a block from Lake Chapala. With nine rooms, the home is intimate enough to feel personal but offers a real range of services, including assisted living, a thoughtful memory care program for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and home care for residents who would rather stay in their own homes and bring in a Casa Zoe nurse, caregiver, housekeeper, or companion instead. That continuity makes it easier for families to transition between in-home and residential care without changing providers.

Food is one of Casa Zoe’s signatures. The home’s cook was born in Ajijic and brings years of experience preparing regional Mexican recipes, which residents enjoy as three meals a day plus snacks in a shared dining setting. Beyond meals, the home runs tai chi, yoga, massage therapy, live music, and social workshops, and there’s an elevator for accessibility along with pool and sauna access.

Casa Zoe Care also has a sister home in the same La Floresta neighborhood, Casa Zoe Community, an independent and assisted living community for residents who don’t need nursing or memory care. Between the two houses, families can move from independent living up to full nursing and memory care under the same name if needs change over time.
