Residencia Refugio Mendoza is a geriatric residence in Leandro Valle, Mérida, providing permanent, partial, day and hourly care for older adults with different levels of independence and support needs. The residence was established as an option both for older adults living with chronic-degenerative conditions and for those who do not require specialized medical care but want to live or spend time in a warm, supported residential environment.

The residence is administered by María Inés Góngora Carrillo, Sole Administrator. Its approach combines accommodation, meals, continuous supervision, medication assistance and personal care with a smaller, homelike environment. • Permanent Residence: Full-time accommodation is available for older adults who need an ongoing home with meals, supervision and assistance.
• Day & Partial Stay: Older adults can attend for part of the day rather than living at the residence permanently.
• Hourly Care: Care can be arranged for shorter periods starting from a minimum of two hours.
• Post-Operative Care: Temporary care is available following surgery, fractures, injuries or hospitalization.
